Guided Setup Option
When a logistics company decides to adopt a fleet management platform, the first obstacle is usually not the technology, but the initial setup. Denmansmiles' guided setup option is designed for teams that need to get Smart-Miles tracking up and running without diverting resources for weeks.
The process begins with a survey of current routes and charging or refueling points. From there, efficiency parameters are defined: average consumption per kilometer, time windows for deliveries, and alert thresholds. This is not a generic onboarding; each adjustment responds to the real constraints of the operation.
During the first week, the support team reviews the most common deviations with the operator and adjusts the dashboard sensitivity. For example, if a route includes dirt sections that increase friction, the system recalculates the cost per Smart-Mile on that segment. These are concrete decisions that prevent false alarms and improve report accuracy.
At the end of the configuration period, the fleet is calibrated with at least three predefined route scenarios. The operator can modify these scenarios without assistance, but the foundation is already validated with real data from the first week. The result is a dashboard that shows exactly what the team needs to see, without noise or superfluous metrics.
